Annual Scholarship Awards Luncheon

The Scholarship Luncheon, a significant event in our community, will occur on June 18, 2025, at the Luxor Hotel and Casino. During this event, the Hannah Brown Community Development Corporation will award scholarships to students honored this year.

This year, we will celebrate a diverse and talented group of students, each representing unique backgrounds and interests. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to them. “We are immensely proud of the donors in our community who have generously supported these students,” said Jerrie E. Merritt, President of The Hannah Brown Community Development Corporation. Merritt added, “For many of these students, receiving these awards can significantly impact their ability to attend college.”

Major donors include MGM Resorts International, ARISTOCRAT Gaming, Vegas Golden Knights Foundation, The Links, Inc. Las Vegas (NV) Chapter, Caesars Entertainment, E.R.J. Martin Family Foundation, Bank of Nevada, M.R. Whitsett, Inc., and NV Energy.
