Annual Scholarship Awards Breakfast

At its Scholarship Awards Breakfast on June 9, 2022, at the Luxor Hotel and Casino, The Hannah Brown Community Development Corporation awarded 50 scholarships to students honored this year.

Congratulations to the incredible array of talented students honored
this year. “we are proud of the generosity of the donors in our
community who are supporting students,” said Jerrie E. Merritt,
President of The Hannah Brown Community Development Corporation. “For many of our students,” Merrit adds, “these awards can make a huge impact, enabling them to attend college.”

Major donors include MGM Resorts International, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Vegas Golden Knights Foundation, The Links, Inc. Las Vegas (NV) Chapter, Caesars Entertainment, Eva and Roberta Martin Foundation, Bank of Nevada, M.R. Whitsett, Southwest Airlines, and NV Energy.
